#1Sign up

First of all, please sign up for Nota.

#2Log in

At home page (http://notaland.com/), enter your User ID and Password. Then click "Go!" button to log in.

#3Open a Nota page

Please select your Nota page which you would like to edit.
If you would like to create new Notebook, click "Create New Notebook" button on the home page, and input a title of a new Notebook, and select private or public. In one Notebook, you can add multiple Nota pages.
If you would like to add new Nota page into a Notebook, please click "+ New Page" button.



Edit

#4Start editing

On the Nota page you are going to edit, click "Edit". The page is now ready to edit.

#5Grab the contents from the web

You can insert various contents into your Nota page directly from the web. Open "Insert" tab in the right box of your editing page. Click "Photo", "Video", "Wikipedia", or "Map", and search with any keyword you like. The search result will be appeared. Then click the image or video you would like to insert into your Nota page.

#6Write texts

1. Click "Text", drag the cursor to where you want the text displayed.
2. Enter text.
3. Change the font size and color. *Select the whole frame, this will allow you to add color to the background.

#7Upload files from your computer

1. Click "Insert" tab on the right hand corner of your page.
2. Open "Upload" tab, click "Browse" and select the file you want to upload.
3. The photo will appear on your Nota page.
* Use the same procedure to paste Word files etc..

#8Design shapes

1. Add Shapes and text to the page.
2. Click "Move" to arrange the shapes and text to match your image.
3. Change the color and size of shapes and text to design it so the text is easy to see.

#9Draw lines

1. Click "Pen". Choose the color and size.
2. Use the mouse to draw lines and write letters.
3. Click "Eraser" to erase any mistakes.

#10Embed Nota into your blog

1. Open "Share" tab on the right box of your editing Nota page.
2. Click "Embed". Then copy the HTML code.
3. Paste the HTML code in your blog post.
If you are Blogger or LiveJournal user, you can use "To Blogger" or "To LiveJournal" button so that you can embed Nota page in Blogger/LiveJournal directly.
Similarly, you can share your Nota page by email, or on Facebook.
