Recent/Upcoming Events:First Weeks of School:The Beginning Band Instrument Demonstration Day and Mouthpiece Try-outs will take place during the first week of school (tentatively Thursday and Friday, Aug. 26-27, 2010). Students will have a chance to listen to and see demonstrations of the various instruments we teach in the band program at QP. Following the demonstrations, students will be able to try-out several different mouthpiece styles to find a good match for the student's mouth and teeth structures.The Informational Beginning Band Parent Meeting will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2010 at 7:00pm in the Gathering Space.Gr. 7/8 Royal Knights Band (Advanced) begins on Thursday, Sept. 2, 2010.Gr. 6 Royal Blue Band begins on Friday, Sept. 3, 2010.

2010-2011 BAND CONCERT SCHEDULE:Thursday, December 9, 2010 at 1:45pm & 7:00pm in the School AuditoriumThursday, May 5, 2011 at 1:45pm & 7:00pm in the School AuditoriumDistrict Solo & Ensemble Music Festival (gr. 6-8 student participation is optional) will be held at Madison East H.S. on Saturday, Feb. 19, 2011.
