20th Century History
Chapter one The end of the war: May 1st 1945 a radio announced that Hitler had Killed himself. Japan dropped atomic bombs on Hiroshima and their defeat marked the end of world war two.
This chapter talked about the events after the war and the events leading up to the cold war.
This chapter also included infromation about the victors justice and the alliance between England Russia and the United States. it gave evidence as to why the alliance was broken and and what happened to the divided countries after the war.
As a group we argued for the side of the communist's and my argument stated that russia's intention was the help the victims of the war and that a communist ideology was best for thier damaged society.
We believed that becuase Germany was in ruins the best way to help rebulid it is introduce communism. this was each person is equal and no one would be poorer or richer than the other. Our intention was to rebuild not create conflict.
