Sushi Kuni10211 South De Anza Boulevard, Cupertino, CA 95014408-257-5864
First in the series of my restaurant review is Sushi Kuni near my work. It is on De Anza near Stevens Creek intersection. If you're super gourmet you might say "why you bother to list such an ordinary place?" Well Kuni might look ordinary but they have many things other sushi place don't have.First, and most importantly restaurant own by Japanese and sushi made by Japanese. Very important. Owner Kunio Akabori (picture left) and chef Steve Futagaki (right) are very friendly (not like some overly friendly sushi chefs).

Second, of course they taste good. All the sushi and menu items can be enjoyed by anyone.I usually enjoy their lunch special. You get to pick two mains from chicken/beef/salmon teriyaki, sea food/veggie tempura, 4-pieces gyoza, and sashimi. If I'm hungry I usually go with their ten-don, tempura over rice. If I'm in the good mood then I usually go with special nigiri.
Last but not least, their price is super reasonable. Two items box lunch is only $7.25! Look at my tempura + chicken teriyaki box, this is $7.25!All other menu items are all affordable, yet they are really good. Not to mention serving is fast so I don't have to wait during busy lunch time.
Sounds Nice! Let's go here together
