Hell'a awesome ramenin the San Francisco Bay Area
The Number 1Santa - San MateoSo far Santa's seabura (say-a-bura: lard) ramen is probably the best ramen in the San Francisco Bay Area. Santa is also one of the oldest surviving ramen restaurant. Picture is seabura with extra chashu (BBQ pork) and side size kara-age (Japanese fried chieckn) over rice.
Number 2Kahoo - San JoseKahoo opened after Dohenkotsu ramen owner retired and closed his ramen restaurant. Kotteri (thick) miso ramen came with delicious kakuni (stewed pork) and nitamago (boiled egg). They also serve teishoku (the lunch plates).
Number 3Halu - San JoseMany people like this place over other two but I liked them better. Their signature Halu ramen you can specify noodle softness/hardness, thickness of soup, and amount of lard.
Disagreed? OK then take me to the place you like (on you).
I wish to try this. Thanks!
